I am hung over this morning. Well, it was Easter yesterday, and it seemed like tradition to indulge a bit last night as I watched Leo McGarry's funeral.
I had some SweeTart Jelly Beans.
As my aunt says, these are the crack of jelly beans.
I wracked my brains this morning -- although gently, as they were in pain -- trying to figure out what was causing my headache. I had one half glass of wine with dinner, so that wasn't it. It might be the change in weather -- today is sunny, but still chilly. And then I realized that there was one common theme whenever I wake up with this kind of hangover headache: sugar.
I think that too much sugar is the cause of these headaches, either from too many addictive jelly beans or too much high-sugar wine.
So, like any other drug, sugar has left me crashing from a high, miserable all morning.
What's next? Guys moaning in a back alley, woozy and penniless, begging for just one more handful of jelly beans?
I'm off to find some aspirin.

I’m a graphic designer, creative director, web designer, and sometimes filmmaking lackey. Bred in Arlington, Virginia I’ve now inexplicably ended up in San Jose, California which is just close enough to Disneyland to make it an expensive hobby.
