Rosalind Aguilar

I knew Ros for only a couple of years, but I loved her. That's enough to clue you in about how special she was. She was special in many other ways as well, from her musical passion to her hard work at creating a better life for her kids. And I'll miss her very much.
I just wanted the world to know this and to remember her.

Rosalind Irene Aguilar, age 28, left this life June 29, 2008. She was a courageous mother who dedicated her life to her two sons; Geronimo and Elias. Rosalind always said 'that her boys were the lights of her life and that's why they were her "suns". Rosalind will be remembered and dearly missed by her two brothers; Frank and Mondo, sister Sarah, nephew Moses, her nieces; Alyssa, Serena, Delilah, Josalynn, co-workers at Barracuda, her band "The 20s!, numerous friends and extended family she collected over the years.
A memorial account has been set up for her boys' future at Bank of the West, Acct. #387079577.
Mass will be July 8, 2008 at Holy Cross Catholic Parish, 580 East Jackson, San Jose at 10 a.m. Interment at Calvary Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Chapel of Flowers.

This is great. I just sent the link to Carlos and Cyn.

This is your way of commemorating what she meant to you. She would've approved!

I’ve worked with Barracuda for three years now and I used to work in the US office (before I transferred to the uk) and would speak to Ros a lot in the morning since we were both their so early.

I wish I could be there to pay my respects, but I will have to send out my vibes from across the pond.

I think that picture captures her pretty well smile

Ros was one funny, kind, sweet person!! I've been sitting by Ros here at work for the last year or so now. It wont be the same without hearing her giggle throughout the day or her funny smartass remarks!!! Ros was one of the kindess, big hearted people I have ever met. She would do anything or help anybody out if it was within her power!( she might give ya a lil at #### first) but would still help you anyway wink....You will be missed Ros!!! Chocolateeeee rainnnn will never be the same.....I will miss you.

Rosalind Aguilar's life stands as testament to the power of love - I knew her for a short time but got to watch her extraordinary dedication to her children and drive to provide a happy life expand her beyond her circumstances. Her intelligence and brilliant smile distinguished her from the first conversation I had with her. Throughout the time I knew her she was always forthright about what was happening in her life - she shared her pain just as she shared her joy which is a large part of why she was so very real. She lived with grace and her memories remain.

They say the good die young. I am sure of it now.
She sang the barracuda song at the Christmas party.
She was always pleasant and nice to converse with.
times I would ask her where she was going for vacation? She would reply: Morrow Bay its like heaven on earth. I know that now Rosalind.
You were an angle sent and now they need you else where. We love you and will always miss you.
