And today, I was reminded finally of just why I bought that little roadster. Sunny and 80° today, taking advantage of a few hours during the afternoon when my most recent illness subsided, I put the top down and sped down Guadalupe Parkway at about 80 singing along with a CD at the top of my lungs. California springtime, baby! I finally decided on a moniker for the new car, one which my family will recognize instantly as a tribute to my grandfather who loved all things technological and all cars fast: the Litomobile!
